March 20 | Arbor Day is a nationally celebrated observance that encourages tree planting and tree care. | ||
Monday March 20, 1:30 pm | The Urban Forestry Council has invited us to join them for their tree planting ceremony. | The north side of the State Capitol grounds near the AEA building. | |
March 20, 2:00 pm | The Urban Forestry Council is planting
the first of 2000 trees that will be planted throughout
this year. A Willow Oak provided by Bemis Tree Farm. Citizens FOR the Land
Alteration Ordinances will join the celebration.
The Council is expected to acknowledge our ordinances and
our organization.

Tuesday, March 21, 5:30p.m. | The Citizens FOR the Land Alteration Ordinances are presenting a tree to the Little Rock Board of Directors in honor of Arbor Day | 5:30p.m. We will meet on the first floor of City Hall (500 West Markham) and go into the Boardroom for the presentation from 6:00~6:30 p.m. | |

The Little Rock City Board of Directors has called a special meeting to consider a moratorium of excavation permits that do not have immediate development plans attached. July 27th | The mediation parties will have a final meeting
on July 24th. The product produced by the task force proposals and the mediation process will be considered by the LR Planning Commission on July 27th. |
